PE Braid 4X | 50m–100m
Lifetime Blank Warranty + 50% Crash Replacement
Manufacturing defects are free. Every Backwater Outlaw carbon rod blank is warranted for the life of the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship. If a blank fails in normal fishing use because of how it was made, we repair or replace the rod or the affected section. Reels & hardware: manufacturing defects are repaired or replaced under warranty.
Crashes are half price. Rods don't mostly break on fish — they break in car doors, on tailgates, and under boots. Any Backwater Outlaw rod, any accidental breakage, is replaced at 50% off the current price of the same (or closest equivalent) model, once per rod.

Retail vs Direct
US shelves sell 4X braid by a pound-test number printed on a card. This family is graded by line number and measured diameter — the grid above is the maker's own, so you can match it against any diameter spec you run. Same PE fiber class, factory-direct price.
Technical FAQ
Which # for bass? 2.0#–3.0# (0.23–0.28mm) is the general-purpose band. Drop to 0.6#–1.2# for finesse, step up to 4.0#+ for cover.
Does it float? Yes — floating PE, standard for topwater and line-watching techniques.
What knot? Palomar or FG to leader; braid slips in clinch knots.
