Metallurgy & Carbon Standards

This page is the standard every product in the store is held to. If a product can't meet the disclosure bar below, it doesn't get listed. Tungsten standard: 97% pure sintered tungsten for all weights and jigheads sold as tungsten; density 18.5 g/cm³; matte black oxide finish; every weight laser-etched with its weight; jighead hooks premium-grade, make/model published per SKU once confirmed. Carbon standard: Toray carbon, tonnage stated per model — 30T+40T minimum for travel rods, 40T+46T / T1100G class for premium blanks; a tonnage range is not a spec and is never printed as one. Spigot ferrules on multi-piece rods. Named guide sets (e.g. Fuji Alconite) — 'Fuji-style' is not Fuji and is never described as such. Japanese NMB hybrid ceramic bearings in BFS reels, count and type published per model. Metal hardware standard: CNC-machined 6061-T6 bar-stock aluminum saltwater reels, not die-cast zinc/graphite; IPX8 sealed drags, rating published per model. Tools: material grades stated plainly; titanium means a named titanium grade, never titanium-coated aluminum; cutters tungsten-carbide, replaceable, or the page says so. The disclosure rule: every product page carries a monospaced Blueprint Spec Block, a retail-vs-direct comparison table, and a technical FAQ; any spec still being confirmed is marked as such during pre-launch review and confirmed or removed before the product goes live.
