PE Braid 8X | 100m
Eight-carrier PE braid on a 100m spool, rated strength for strength from 16LB finesse-class up to 96LB. Heavy line is the story in grass-choked water: pick the rating for the cover you're pulling fish out of, not the size of the fish.

Retail vs Direct
Big-box braid sells on a brand name and a cardboard header. This spool comes from the same class of PE fiber, wound on the same kind of machines, without the retail markup stacked on top. The rating grid above is printed strength for strength, so you can compare it against any spool on the shelf.
Technical FAQ
How do I pick a strength? Match the cover, not the fish. Sparse water: 16–30LB. General bass work: 30–50LB. Heavy grass, mats and slop — the California Delta pattern: 55LB and up, so you can pull fish and vegetation out together.
Does it float? Yes — this is a floating PE braid, the standard for topwater, frogs and any technique where you watch the line.
What knot? A Palomar or FG to your leader. Braid's slick coating slips in clinch knots; those two don't.
